| The Importance of Parental Involvement Your role as a parent or carer is vital. We must all agree that the majority of parents want their children to do well and to be happy. Over the past few years there has been an enormous amount of research showing how parental involvement in a child's education directly impacts on their levels of achievement. It is a little known fact that, despite our school days seeming to go on for ever, children actually only spend 15% of their lives in school.
